Stat provides integrated SMS in partnership with SMS Central www.smscentral.com.au
Stat allows practices to send SMS to remind patients of future appointments, if new referrals are required for future appointments (specialist practices), recalls and reminders, patient reporting and also ad hoc SMS per patient. A valuable tool in improving practice efficiencies the SMS feature enables practices to send a single SMS or send bulk SMS to patients.
In the event the SMS is an appointment reminder Stat can receive a response which will automatically confirm the appointment in the appointment book. SMS responses can be viewed by patient under the Patient Debtor screen/Options/View SMS log whilst the entire log of SMS sent and unexpected responses can be viewed under Tasks/SMS
Practices can register for either Fixed number or a Shared number:
Fixed Number: SMS are sent from the same dedicated phone number every time. Patients will recognise the number belongs to the Practice and can save it to their phone contacts for future reference. There is an initial setup fee for this service and an ongoing monthly fee.
Shared Number: SMS are sent from randomly generated phone numbers controlled by SMS Central. The number is not specific to a practice and can change each time a SMS is sent. This service incurs no fee and is the most commonly chosen option for our clients.
