Changes to Hardware and Software Specification

As part of Stats commitment to delivering the latest technologies we have adopted Microsoft Visual Studio 2007 for the development and distribution of Stat from version 3.8.0. Release 3.8.0 of Stat is in testing now and due to be released in June of this year.

This version of Stat has been updated to use the latest Microsoft .net technologies and as a result we request that you ensure that all your computers that use Stat (both server and workstations) have the latest version of .net installed. The minimum version of .net will be 4.6.2.

Our hardware and software specifications on our web site have already been updated to reflect this new requirement.

With the release of .net 4.6 Microsoft no longer supports Windows Vista, and so this has been removed from the Stat hardware and software specifications page.

Any computers not running 4.6.2 when they are upgraded to Stat version 3.8.0 will not be able to run Stat at all until the minimum version of .net has been installed.

You can download the 4.6.2 version of .net from either of these links:
